When I was working at Publicis, we got invited to pitch for Agency Of Record for PayPal. The assignment was given to me with a 10 day turnaround.
My concept was that since PayPal is so universally accepted as the #1 form of payment online, we could highlight that by showcasing how awful it is to be 'unaccepted'. Three videos were created. Each one focusing on a famous historical character that was the complete opposite of PayPal.
I wrote, directed and starred in each.
The creative won the pitch and we were awarded AOR.
